Health Services is a large South Shore area ophthalmology group of 17
physicians. Since our founding in 1971, EHS has flourished into one
of the area's largest growing eye care practices. Our rapid growth has
created exciting career opportunities in one or more of our nine office
locations for the following positions.
Ophthalmic
Technicians
Opportunities exist for entry-level and experienced ophthalmic technicians
and pediatric ophthalmic technicians. Entry-level personnel will be
trained in the evaluation and testing of the eye. Full-time and part-time
positions with Saturdays and evenings available. Code OTA
Medical
Assistants/Scribes
Opportunities exist for medical assistants/scribes to assist physicians
with medical record documentation, patient education/family counseling
and assisting with minor surgical procedures. Code MAS
Medical
Secretary
Full-time opportunities exists in several of our offices for experienced
or entry-level medical secretaries. Position requires strong organizational,
communication, and customer service skills. Knowledge of third-party
insurance requirements preferred, not required. Code MSA
Patient
Account Representative
Full-time opportunities exist for detail-oriented individuals to process
claims, review A/R, post payments and collections. Ophthalmology experience
and knowledge of IDX a plus. Code PAR
Automated
Call Center Personnel
Telephone answering personnel with experience in a call center environment,
preferably in the health care field.
Office
Manager
Currently recruiting for Office Manager position. The successful candidate
will have 3-5 years of office management experience in a large physician
practice, preferably in ophthalmology, with requisite expertise in office
operations, financial management, marketing, computerized billing and
personnel administration. Undergraduate and/or graduate degree in business
is required.
Opticians
Opportunities exist in several of our optical shops for full-time, entry-level
and experienced opticians. Code OA
Optical
- Finishing Lab Technician
Full-time position exists in our Optical Lab to learn fabrication of
eyewear. No experience necessary. Manual dexterity is essential. Code
OPT
Medical
Transcription
Full-time position available in medical transcription department. Microsoft
word. Must type 60-70 wpm; proficient with grammar and punctuation.
