Eye Health Services
expert eye care

Eye Health Services is dedicated to preserving the precious sense of sight. The mission of our entire staff is to provide comprehensive eye care of the highest quality and to serve each patient with compassion and understanding.

A dilated examination of the eye is essential for anyone with diabetes (Type I or Type II) and should be performed at least once a year.

40 to 45 percent of Americans with diabetes have some stage of diabetic retinopathy. Timely detection and treatment, when indicated, are essential for the preservation of good visual function.

Common Eye Disorders

Impaired vision can occur at any time of life, but eye disorders dramatically increase with age. John Mandeville, MD, PhD and Gerri Goodman, MD recently discussed common eye disorders on Massachusetts Medical Society’s show “Physician Focus.” See the video here or read the print version here.
