Dr. M. Lisa McHam received her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine and undergraduate degree from Duke University.  Dr. McHam completed her ophthalmology residency program at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary followed by a fellowship program in Glaucoma at Tufts New England Eye Center.

Dr. McHam is currently Chief of Ophthalmology at Carney Hospital and Clinical Instructor of Ophthalmology at Tufts University School of Medicine. 

She is a member of the Associate Staff at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and also holds staff appointments to South Shore Hospital,  Milton Hospital, Signature Healthcare/Brockton Hospital and Good Samaritan Medical Center.  

Dr. McHam's professional memberships include the American Academy of Ophthalmology; Past President of the Massachusetts Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, Chairperson, Public Health and Education Committee; New England Ophthalmological Society; Interspecialty Committee, Massachusetts Medical Society and a member of the Chandler-Grant Glaucoma Society.
