Founded in 1971 with just five ophthalmologists and three offices, EHS has flourished into the area’s premier eye care practice.

The practice consists of 20 board certified ophthalmologists with sub-specialty training in Cornea, Glaucoma, Diseases of the Retina, Pediatric Ophthalmology, and Ophthalmic Plastics and Reconstructive Eye Surgery. Eye Health Services has nine office locations and is affiliated with two Surgical Centers.

Contact lens services are available along with full service Optical shops located in six of our office locations.

Eye Health Services takes pride in its technical and administrative staff. Continuing education and certification is made available to all staff members. Our primary goal is to ensure that quality medical attention, together with courtesy and consideration is extended to each patient.

Dr. Eric H. Johnson, founded Eye Health Services with just five ophthalmologists and three offices. He served as president and ophthalmologist of Eye Health Services for over 44 years. Since 1971 EHS has flourished into the area’s premier eye care practice.

Our physicians have the unique opportunity to serve patients throughout all the communities in which EHS is located because our physicians rotate to several locations throughout the course of the week. This not only strengthens our physician team, but gives patients in our total service area access to more providers without the need to travel long distances.
